Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

These terms govern the relationship between you (the "Client") and Landa ("we", "us"), a Swiss-based design and development studio operated by Alvaro Garcia and Elena Perez. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

Landa provides UX design, frontend development, and product delivery services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project are agreed upon before work begins.

2. Project scope

Each project starts with a discovery call where we define the scope together. We provide a written proposal outlining what's included. Work outside the agreed scope may require a separate quote.

We reserve the right to decline projects that don't align with our expertise or capacity.

3. Pricing and payment

All projects are fixed-price. We agree on the total cost before starting. Payment is split 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. For larger projects, we may agree on milestone-based payments.

Invoices are due within 14 days of issuance. Late payments may result in work being paused until the balance is settled.

4. Intellectual property

Upon full payment, you own all custom designs, code, and assets created specifically for your project. We retain the right to use the work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, open-source libraries) remain subject to their respective licenses. We'll inform you of any third-party dependencies.

5. Revisions and feedback

Revisions are included in every project. We work iteratively and show progress regularly. We incorporate your feedback throughout the process to ensure the final result meets expectations.

Major scope changes requested after approval of a phase may require additional time and cost, which we'll communicate transparently before proceeding.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all project information as confidential by default. We won't share your business details, strategies, or proprietary information with third parties.

If your project requires a formal NDA, we're happy to sign one before discussing details.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our deliverables.

We deliver production-ready work but cannot guarantee specific business outcomes such as revenue, conversion rates, or user growth.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. If you cancel mid-project, payment is due for work completed up to that point. The upfront payment is non-refundable once work has started.

We'll provide all completed work and assets upon termination and final payment.
